West Ham United insider ExWHUemployee has delivered a hugely positive transfer update.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma.
David Moyes has made Zouma his number one centre-back target this summer after Fabian Balbuena left West Ham.
Hammers edging closer to Zouma signing?
According to Get French Football News, Zouma has even been scheduled in for a medical today ahead of a proposed move to West Ham.
Now West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has delivered a hugely positive update suggesting the signing could be close.
And Ex claims Moyes feels he is getting his prime target and someone who will fit in with the excellent culture he has cultivated at West Ham.
‘Moyes feels he is getting number one target and a good lad’
“It appears that some of the details that needed sorting out have been and the club now believe that they can get the medical completed within the next 24 hours,” ExWHUemployee said on The West Ham Way Patreon site.
“There are a few steps to go plus obvious medical. The deal is now more advanced than the Milenkovic one ever was. Let’s hope we finally get an outfield deal over the line…
“I have been told that not only does Moyes feel he is securing his number one target, a top quality centre back but also a very good lad who will settle into the changing room superbly and be part of the great team spirit that has been created.”
Fantastic news for Hammers fans and a second French international of the summer
What fantastic news for West Ham fans desperate to see the club make a statement of intent in the transfer window.
If Zouma joins, Moyes will have signed his second France international of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper Alphonse Areola from PSG.
Not only will – according to the claims – Zouma fit in with and add to the camaraderie at West Ham.
