It seems like West Ham United could be about to enjoy our very best January transfer window off all time.
The January transfer window has already been a strong one for West Ham as far as I’m concerned, with the addition of Kalvin Phillips on loan from Manchester City until the end of the season.
Next up for Hammers boss David Moyes is the task of strengthening his front-line, and he has numerous irons in the fire it seems.
Chelsea striker Armando Broja and Al-Ittihad attacker Jota are two names who’ve been heavily linked with West Ham, with loan moves being mooted for both.
Moyes has a great squad of players at the London Stadium, but he definitely doesn’t have the strength in depth required for a top six push in my opinion.
However, that could all be about to change drastically in the January transfer window…

West Ham could be on the verge of dream January window
So now that the Phillips deal is done, it’s very much on to the next for Moyes, with attacking reinforcements needed urgently.
And it seems like Moyes has a fantastic opportunity to sign two brilliant forward players before the window slams shut on Thursday night.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has already suggested that Broja, 22, could leave the Blues on loan this winter.
Meanwhile, it has been claimed that West Ham are closing in on a loan move for Al-Ittihad ace Jota.
Now, if Moyes manages to bring both of those players to the club this month, with options to sign them in the summer, we will be in an incredibly strong position.
Can you imagine having Broja and Jota as attacking options alongside Jarrod Bowen, Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus – wow!
West Ham are on the verge of achieving something very special this season. I reckon getting loan deals for Broja and Jota done and dusted in the January transfer window, in addition to the Phillips signing, could be enough to take us over the line in the race for the top six.
Whether the Hammers owners are able to pull the double deal off remains to be seen though.
