David Moyes has been handed a major boost with the news that a really exciting winger wants to join West Ham United this month.
West Ham boss David Moyes has been a busy man in the January transfer window, and he could be set to sign a highly talented young winger, once the deal to bring Kalvin Phillips to the London Stadium is done.
The Hammers manager is believed to be on the hunt for Ibrahim Osman from Danish side Nordsjaelland, with a £17 million deal being mooted.
It is believed that West Ham face strong competition for the 19-year-old winger from a couple of Premier League clubs, but now it seems like we may have a clear path to his signature.
Football Insider claim that Osman has rejected moves to both Brighton and Brentford, in order to join West Ham in January.
That really is fantastic news, if true of course…

Winger with blistering speed wants to join West Ham in January
If this update from Football Insider turns out to be true, then the Hammers will have an unbelievably talented young attacker on our hands.
The Ghanaian has bagged four goals and five assists in 29 games for Nordsjaelland so far this season (Transfermarkt) – a fairly impressive tally for someone so young. He has blistering pace and plays with a really fearless attitude.
Osman is a real talent and would provide us with something that we currently don’t possess inside the final third.
His direct playing style would add a layer of unpredictability to our play, and it goes without saying that he’d be a huge upgrade on Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals, in spite of his inexperience.
So if the winger really wants to join West Ham in the January transfer window, the board really should make it happen, even if that means paying £17 million for him.
