West Ham United allegedly could make a move to sign Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder in the summer.
That’s according to a report from the Daily Star (print edition July 6th) who claim that the Hammers could battle Wolves for the 31-year-old Monaco striker’s signature in the summer transfer window.

West Ham boss David Moyes is desperate to add a top-class striker to his ranks at the London Stadium before the start of the new season.
Michail Antonio cannot be expected to do everything on his own once again next season and it will be vital for Moyes to sign an established forward before the transfer window slams shut.
West Ham have an incredibly busy fixture schedule lying ahead of us, especially between August and mid-November. So we absolutely cannot afford to start the new season with Michail Antonio as our only option up front again.

It seems as though Moyes could go back in for one of his old transfer targets in order to address that particular issue…
West Ham eyeing move to sign Monaco striker
Daily Star (print edition July 6th) claims that the Hammers are ready to battle it out with Wolves for the signing of Wissam Ben Yedder this summer.
We think that he could be a very useful addition to Moyes’s ranks.
The 31-year-old joined Monaco for around £34 million in the summer of 2019 (Bleacher Report).
He has been in really impressive form for the Ligue 1 outfit, bagging 73 goals and 25 assists in 124 games so far (Transfermarkt).

Ben Yedder is clearly a top class striker, with 214 goals in 436 career games to his name (Transfermarkt).
The experienced striker has 19 international caps for France to his name as well.
He would be an excellent addition for the Hammers although it must be noted that he wouldn’t fit the Red Bull model that David Moyes is so keen to emulate.
And it remains to be seen whether Moyes can tempt the French striker into joining West Ham in the summer transfer window.
