West Ham have a big problem on our hands with Manchester United reportedly demanding an extortionate amount of money for Scott McTominay.
Manchester United value West Ham summer transfer target Scott McTominay at around £50 million according to The Sun.

That’s an awful lot of money for the Hammers to be spending, even if we receive double that amount for Declan Rice.

The chances of that happening seem to be fairly unlikely now though…
Manchester United demand massive Scott McTominay fee from West Ham
The Sun claims that Man United will only consider selling the 26-year-old midfielder to the Hammers for a minimum of £50 million this summer.
£50 million for McTominay is an awful lot of money but I guess that’s just the market these days isn’t it. If Manchester United value the Scot at £50 million though, it’s their prerogative and right to do so.
I still think that McTominay would be a really good signing for West Ham.
Whilst the 26-year-old is not as good as Declan Rice, and in no way should be viewed as the 24-year-old’s direct replacement, he would be a really strong addition to Moyes’s squad.

The Scottish midfielder has energy and stamina in abundance and is a tireless worker.
He is strong as an ox, tenacious in the tackle and quick along the ground.
On face value, he possesses all of the attributes that West Ham manager David Moyes usually looks for in a player.
West Ham can’t really go wrong by signing Scott McTominay from Manchester United, although it is highly doubtful that the Hammers board will stretch to £50 million for his signature.
