West Ham United reportedly could now try to sign Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay as a replacement for Declan Rice.
That’s according to a report from Manchester Evening News who claim that Hammers boss David Moyes is a big admirer of the 26-year-old Manchester United man.

West Ham desperately need to sign a strong central midfielder in the summer, with Declan Rice almost certainly set to leave the London Stadium.

Scott McTominay is someone who we have been heavily linked with before.
And it seems as thought the Scotland international is on Moyes’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window…

Manchester Evening News reckon that the Hammers could try to prise the 26-year-old Man United midfielder away from Old Trafford in the summer.
I think that McTominay would be a very strong addition for the Hammers. Let’s get something straight though, in no way should he be considered as a direct replacement for Declan Rice.
The Scottish midfielder has energy and stamina in abundance and is a tireless worker.

He is strong as an ox, tenacious in the tackle and quick along the ground.
On face value, he possesses all of the attributes that West Ham manager David Moyes usually looks for in a player.
McTominay would be a very solid addition for the Hammers.
As mentioned earlier though, he really shouldn’t be considered as a replacement for Rice.
