Hans off Vanaken say Club Brugge as David Moyes target signs a new five-year deal after his failed West Ham move.
As West Ham fans know, Moyes has admitted he has been trying to sign Brugge star man and captain Vanaken.
Indeed the player himself has publicly declared his desire to sign for West Ham.

Vanaken made his wishes clear following bids from the Hammers and said that he felt it may be his last chance for a big move to the Premier League having played his entire career in Belgium.
As reported earlier, Moyes has allegedly told a West Ham midfield star he can leave, which led to suggestions Vanaken could be on his way to the London Stadium.
Club Brugge manager Carl Hoefkens admitted recently that he could lose Vanaken to West Ham, even though he would love him to stay.

Then the player himself publicly stated yesterday that he wants to join the Hammers as it may be his last chance to play in the Premier League.
When Brugge smashed the Belgian transfer record to sign Roman Yaremchuk yesterday, it suggested they may be spending money they knew they would be getting from West Ham for Vanaken.
But Hans off Vanaken say Club Brugge as the Moyes target signs a new deal after his failed West Ham move.

Over the weekend West Ham completed their eighth signing of the summer with the record arrival of midfield star Lucas Paqueta.
And that appears to have put paid to any interest in Vanaken.
That’s after Club Brugge this afternoon confirmed their captain has signed a new contract to keep him at the club until 2027 despite interest from West Ham.

“Vanaken (30) has been at Jan Breydel since 2015, winning five titles and 4 Supercups over the past seven years,” Club Brugge has announced on its official website.
“In 2018 and 2019 he won the Golden Boot and was voted Pro Player of the Year.
“Meanwhile Vanaken played nearly 350 official matches for Club in which he provided around 70 assists and scored more than 100 goals.
“Despite interest from abroad, the Belgium international decided to stay and sign a new contract until 2027.
“Vanaken bluft.”
