Exciting report claims West Ham are now in talks to sign two strikers

West Ham United have apparently started talks to sign two prolific strikers this month.

The January transfer window is well and truly underway, and West Ham boss David Moyes seems to be intent on bolstering his attacking ranks at the London Stadium.

The Hammers manager is currently without his entire first-choice attacking lineup, and there is a real danger of our season fizzling out if the Scot doesn’t make any new additions.

Serhou Guirassy and Santiago Gimenez are both believed to be on the West Ham radar, with the door apparently open for the club to sign the Stuttgart hitman and internal discussions happening about the Feyenoord striker.

Now it seems like Moyes and the West Ham owners are ready to ramp up their bid to bring a top-class striker to the club.

Talks have apparently been opened for both the Guinea and Mexico internationals…

West Ham are now in talks two sign two strikers

According to Football Insider, talks are taking place about potential deals for both strikers. However, it is stated that we will only sign one of them, rather than both.

Signing Gimenez would be the dream for me, but I’d happily take Guirassy as well. Both strikers would take West Ham to a whole new level entirely.

The 22-year-old Mexico international has 20 goals and five assists in 22 games for Feyenoord so far this season (Transfermarkt).

Meanwhile, The Guinean has 19 goals and two assists to his name in 16 games for Stuttgart this term (Transfermarkt).

Both Guirassy and Gimenez possess the physical qualities needed to succeed in the Premier league, and I have no doubts that either of them would make an instant impact at the London Stadium.

West Ham have apparently begun talks to sign both strikers, and no matter which one we bring to the club, I’ll be absolutely delighted.
