Trevoh Chalobah is being heavily linked with a move to West Ham United, and now he wants to leave Chelsea.

According to a report from the Evening Standard, Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah wants to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with a move to West Ham in the pipeline this summer transfer window.

The East London outfit have been linked with a move to sign the 24-year-old on a few occasions already this summer.

That’s no surprise with Hammers manager David Moyes desperately looking for a top-class centre-back.

And it seems as though Chalobah will be someone who the Scot can definitely sign if he decides to proceed with a move for the Chelsea man…

The Standard reckon that Chalobah wants to leaves the Blues in order to get some regular first-team football under his belt.

The 24-year-old could be available for around £25 million this summer (Daily Mail).

Described as an ‘incredible’ defender by Football.London, Chalobah would be a very solid addition for the Hammers.

He’s quick along the ground, strong in the air and vitally for David Moyes, he has experience of playing Premier League football!

In 25 Premier League appearances for Chelsea last season, the centre-back averaged 1.2 tackles, one interception and 2.2 clearances per game (Who Scored).

Not only can Trevoh Chalobah play in the centre-back position, he can also perform defensive midfield duties, and that kind of versatility could be crucial for West Ham.

Signing the £25 million man is a no-brainer for the Hammers this summer as far as I’m concerned.
