Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has issued a major West Ham transfer update after claims that a fourth signing is imminent.

Last month Hammers News urged David Moyes to drop his Jesse Lingard obsession and move on from the long, exasperating saga.

That came after a new round of reports that Lingard had snubbed West Ham in favour of a move to another Premier League club.

Well it seems the Scot knew exactly what he was doing all along.

Because reports are emerging claiming the 29-year-old midfielder has finally agreed to rejoin the Hammers as a free agent.

The likes of KUMB are claiming this afternoon that Lingard’s West Ham return on a permanent deal has been sealed.

“Jesse Lingard is set to make a sensational return to West Ham having agreed to return to the club on a permanent basis,” KUMB reports in the story titled ‘Lingard on his way’.

It comes after Hammers News highlighted what appeared to be a clear hint from Lingard he had chosen to sign for West Ham in a cryptic TikTok video captioned ‘Decisions, decisions, decisions’ alongside a football emoji.

Now Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has issued a major West Ham transfer update after claims that a fourth signing is imminent with the expected return of Lingard.

And while Sheth confirmed talks are advanced between West Ham and Lingard’s representatives, it appears there remains work to be done with rivals still circling.

“West Ham United in negotiation with Jesse Lingard’s representatives – growing feeling the player will choose to return to the club,” Sheth said on Twitter.

“Has other Premier League offers.”

Most Hammers fans are sick to the back teeth of the Lingard saga, understandably so.

But make no mistake signing Lingard on a free would be sensational business for West Ham, there are no two ways about it.

It will also leave Moyes plenty in his reported budget to sign a striker, another central midfielder and a left-back.

All the recent reports are pointing towards West Ham with the end of the week reportedly the deadline Lingard has set for his final decision according to the likes of The Athletic’s David Ornstein.
