David Moyes has delivered a massive transfer update as he confirms yet more players could sign for West Ham while others may leave.

It was a very good weekend for West Ham United.

The Hammers got their first win – and goal – of the new Premier League season with a 1-0 victory at Aston Villa.

And West Ham sealed one of the most exciting transfers for years with the arrival of Brazil star Lucas Paqueta for a club record fee.

Despite making eight signings and spending around £180m, it seems West Ham intend to be active right up until the window closes on Thursday.

Reports abound linking the Hammers with more midfielders, central defenders and right-backs too.

Fans have been well fed on a diet of transfer news and gossip for the last three months.

And ahead of the big game against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday, there is more to feast on for West Ham supporters from the manager himself (whufc.com).

Because Moyes has delivered a massive transfer update as he confirms yet more players could sign for West Ham while others may leave.

“I wouldn’t completely say no (that there will not be any further signings), but in the same breath it could be yes,” Moyes said in his pre-Spurs press conference.

“Because there are one or two things we need to look at.

“There might be some people coming in and there might be some people going out.”

There has been a raft of departures at West Ham this summer including the likes of Issa Diop to Fulham for £15m.

But there is absolutely no doubting the quality of the team and squad – certainly on paper – has risen massively.

Moyes clearly has his eye on more signings before the deadline.

Don’t be surprised to see fan favourite Craig Dawson leave after links with clubs further north for family reasons.

That could well mean another centre-back arrives.

Moyes’ comments comes after West Ham captain Declan Rice also hinted there would be more signings after the arrival of Paqueta.
