Chelsea want to snub David Moyes and give Everton boss Frank Lampard two West Ham targets instead to try and engineer a big move.
Moyes is on the verge of one of the most exciting West Ham transfers for years with the arrival of Brazil star Lucas Paqueta imminent for a club record fee in excess of £50m.
And there have been strong suggestions from the Hammers boss and the likes of Declan Rice, that there may be further arrivals before the window closes.

West Ham’s Premier League rivals Everton and Chelsea look set to be busy too.
Former Hammer Frank Lampard desperately needs reinforcements after narrowly keeping Everton up last season before losing the club’s best player, Richarlison, to Spurs.
Meanwhile Chelsea are reportedly chasing the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ronaldo and Everton’s Anthony Gordon.
West Ham have been linked with Chelsea duo Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher all summer.

Moyes is ‘definitely still interested’ in Blues brothers Gallagher and Broja, according to journalist Paul Brown.
Brown told GIVEMESPORT: “West Ham are definitely still interested in both Gallagher and Broja. The problem for all these clubs is that it’s a waiting game really to see what they [Chelsea] decide to do.”
Well if that is the case then it seems there may be bad news for West Ham and good news for Everton from Stamford Bridge.
Because Chelsea want to snub Moyes and give Everton boss Lampard the two West Ham targets instead.

According to an exclusive from Football Insider, Chelsea have made an offer of £25m plus Broja and Gallagher in a bid to sign Gordon from Everton.
Football Insider say the deal equates to around £85m – a staggering amount given Gordon’s relative lack of Premier League experience and goals/assists.
“Chelsea have offered Everton two stars in a sensational £85million cash-plus-player bid for Anthony Gordon, sources have told Football Insider,” the report states.

“The London giants’ latest bid of £25m plus Armando Broja and Conor Gallagher in exchange for the wide forward demonstrates how far they are willing to go to tie up the deal by next week’s transfer cut-off.
“The Merseysiders have already rejected multiple cash bids from Chelsea as they ramp up their efforts to lure the 21-year-old.”
If that is the case one would think Everton and Lampard would be insane not to accept.
And that would obviously put paid to West Ham’s hopes of signing Broja or Gallagher before the deadline.
