West Ham United look set to miss out on yet another reported David Moyes target, this time to London rivals Crystal Palace.
West Ham missed out to Palace for Eberechi Eze last summer as the Hammers could not raise the funds in time to trump to Palace’s bid.
And now it looks as though Moyes could be beaten to the punch again for Danish international Joachim Andersen.

West Ham heavily linked with great Dane
The big centre-back shone on loan at Fulham last season and has been repeatedly linked with a move to West Ham.
The Hammers saw Fabian Balbuena depart on a free this summer leaving Moyes with Angelo Ogbonna, Craig Dawson and Issa Diop as his only senior central defenders.
West Ham have been heavily linked with a host of centre halves including Nikola Milenkovic, Jonathan Tah, James Tarkowski and Duje Caleta-Car.
But Andersen has also been on West Ham’s radar according to the likes of The Mirror.

Moyes facing defensive crisis but Palace beat Hammers to centre-back target
And possible emergency backup Winston Reid – who reportedly has no future at the club under Moyes – has also picked up an injury playing for New Zealand at the Olympics.
Despite Moyes’s desperate lack of defensive cover, it seems Crystal Palace are set to beat them to the £20m signing of Andersen.

Eagles to announce Andersen as West Ham window pain goes on
The Daily Mail and a host of other sources claim Palace have clinched the signing of Andersen from Lyon.
And the new arrival could be announced today.
It is another blow for Moyes in what has been a quiet window for West Ham thus far.
West Ham desperately need to sign at least one striker, central midfield cover, a centre-back and – ideally – goalkeeper.
