One West Ham United player is pushing for an exit from the London Stadium in the January transfer window.

The January transfer window is a vitally important one for West Ham manager David Moyes, with numerous new additions required.

The Hammers boss may well have to sell first though, if he is to bring in two or three players before the end of the month.

And Said Benrahma is a player who has been heavily linked with an exit from the club this winter, with the likes of Wolves chasing his signature.

His last act as a West Ham player may well have been his petulant kick out during our FA Cup defeat to Bristol City on Tuesday night – one that resulted in a red card.

Now it is believed that Said is pushing to join Lyon this winter…

West Ham player pushing to leave in the January transfer window

Benrahma wants to leave the Hammers with Lyon sniffing around him, according to Fabrizio Romano who made the claim when speaking to Give Me Sport.

The winger is an absolute shadow of his former self now, and he is desperately devoid of any kind of confidence.

He has never really produced the goods for West Ham on a consistent basis, with just 24 goals and 19 assists in 155 games to his name for the club (Transfermarkt).

Benrahma has been in absolutely awful form this season, with no goals and only one assist to his name so far.

The sooner that the former Brentford attacker leaves the London Stadium the better for all parties involved.

And according to Fabrizio Romano, Benrahma is doing everything he can to make a West Ham exit happen in the January transfer window.
