A whistleblower in the first team has made a series of shocking claims about David Moyes and a toxic atmosphere at West Ham.
Here on Hammers News we have been highlighting the alarming drop off in West Ham’s Premier League performances for the last 15 months.
In January after yet another dismal defeat – to relegation rivals Wolves – we called on the West Ham board to sack David Moyes in order to save the club from relegation.
David Sullivan has spoken to Hammers News on several occasions backing the Scot to turn things around.
With the manager looking set to stay until at least the summer, the focus has to be on getting the four wins likely needed in the last 12 games to stay up.

West Ham go into a huge six-pointer against Southampton off the back of just 15 wins in their last 53 league games.
Victory could lift the Hammers up to 13th. Defeat could leave West Ham bottom. The stakes are massive.
But ahead of the crucial clash there have been a series of allegations made about Moyes’ management which will have fans fearing the worst.
A whistleblower in the first team has made a series of shocking claims about Moyes and a toxic atmosphere at West Ham.
Reports of unrest within the West Ham dressing room have been made recently by the likes of Guardian journalist Jacob Steinberg.

Now West Ham YouTube channel Claret and Booze has reported a series of claims about Moyes which it says come from an unnamed first team insider very close to the manager.
The channel’s host reveals he is under strict instruction not to let any names slip from the anonymous source, who spent time with the first team whistleblower over the weekend.
“Where this is coming from couldn’t be any better, it is very much coming from inside the club… this is as good as a contact gets, it might as well be from David Moyes himself,” show host Nick Killington states on the source.
The claims paint a dismal picture of a team in complete disarray and is alleged that players and staff are fed up with Moyes.
Obviously the claims and allegations are from an anonymous source and some fans may question their validity.
But they are so damning that were a name to be put to them it would leave Moyes’ position at the club untenable.

Due to the length of the video and extent of the claims we have had to paraphrase some of the key points alleged by the first team whistleblower.
- When asked what is the problem at West Ham and what has gone wrong at the club, the source replied: “David Moyes.”
- It is as toxic inside the club as fans have read in reports from the likes of The Guardian.
- Coaches and players are aligned in dislike of Moyes and his methods.
- Moyes has taken Kevin Nolan and Paul Nevin off set pieces and claimed control of them himself.
- Dynamic among first team coaches is broken with ideas and instructions ignored by Moyes in-game.
- Alan Irvine – who left his position as assistant coach and switched to a ‘technical advisory role’ in May 2021 – is regarded as the “mastermind” behind West Ham’s initial success under Moyes.
- Stuart Pearce had little input at the club and has not been missed.
- Big money signings such as Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta look good in training but are struggling to adapt to Moyes’ methods and approach.
- The situation is said to be “far worse than we can imagine”.
- Players and staff no longer care about stories being leaked from inside the club because they are sick of working in Moyes’ regime.
- Players regularly voice anger at tactics in dressing room during games.
- Players have confronted Moyes over being singled out in the press for criticism with one example cited being captain Declan Rice taking exception to the manager highlighting the poor performance of Nayef Aguerd after a defeat.
- Senior staff and players have voiced concerns to the board but have fallen on deaf ears.
