Emerson Palmieri has posted a Twitter message after West Ham United beat Anderlecht 2-1 in the Europa Conference League last night.

The Hammers beat the Belgian side 2-1 last night and in truth, that scoreline really flattered the visitors. We should have won comfortably by three or four goals.

All is good though. West Ham are sitting top of group B and have already qualified through to the knockout stages, although we still need at least a point in order to guarantee winning the group.

Emerson was handed a start in Europe last night, and the Italian put in another impressive performance for the Hammers.

I believe that the 28-year-old is actually deserving of more regular action in the Premier League. Moyes is clearly reluctant to drop Aaron Cresswell though – certainly for big games.

The Italy international certainly hasn’t been doing himself any harm with his performances for the Hammers in the Europa Conference League this season.

It seems as though Emerson has settled in at the London Stadium very quickly indeed…

Emerson posts tweet after West Ham beat Anderlecht

The Hammers are now assured of European football after the new year.

We will surely get the one point that we need to top the group from our final two games as well, and save ourselves from having to play a two-legged play-off tie in February.

The win last night was a big one for West Ham.

And Emerson certainly seemed to enjoy it.

The ex-Chelsea man took to Twitter after West Ham beat Anderlecht last night:

Emerson provided a brilliant assist for Jarrod Bowen last night, and it is clear to see that he will offer the Hammers so much down the left hand flank.

West Ham were superb against Anderlecht, especially in the first-half. And hopefully that performance will see us really kick on as a team now.
