West Ham tying Ben Johnson down to a new long-term contract is now more important that ever with numerous Premier League clubs allegedly monitoring the young right-back.

According to a report from the Evening Standard there are a handful of Premier League clubs who would like to sign the 21-year-old Hammers ace.
Johnson has been sensational for West Ham since coming in for the injured Vladimir Coufal last month.
The young star has endeared himself to the Hammers fans, David Moyes and the London Stadium faithful.

Johnson’s form has been so good that he has kept Coufal out of the team after the Czech Republic international returned from injury.

The Hammers task of getting the youngster tied down to a new long-term deal may be a little bit more complicated after his impressive recent form.
The Evening Standard reckon that numerous different Premier League clubs want to sign Johnson.

And with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2022, West Ham had better get it done…ASAP.
With Coufal set to turn 30 next year, getting Johnson tied down to a new contract will be of paramount importance for Moyes and West Ham.
The 21-year-old is a truly incredible talent and he seems to be getting better and better by the week.
One thing in our favour is how happy he seems at the London Stadium. If we offer him terms that match his quality, there is no reason why he won’t sign on the dotted line.
