David Moyes would have been delighted with the resilience that his players showed, and over the two legs they were more than deserving of reaching the Conference League final out in Prague.

It was a tough game last night physically for the boys. However, AZ Alkmaar never really troubled the boys in truth.

And now we have a brilliant night out in Prague to look forward to. 17 years without a cup final and 43 years since we last won a major trophy – we certainly haven’t had it easy have we!!

Now it’s time to celebrate, just like the away fans did out in Alkmaar last night…

West Ham fans will love video of away end when Pablo Fornals scored vs AZ Alkmaar

The Hammers secured our place in the final next month when Fornals scored the winner deep into injury time at the AFAS Stadium last night.

The fact that it was the talented Spaniard who scored the goal made it extra special. The fans love Pablo and he loves us as well.

When the 27-year-old put the ball in the back of the net after a terrific bit of skill last night, the away end was a real sight to see:

Fornals has barely played during the final two thirds of the season – somewhat undeservedly so.

That being said, he has put in some really poor performances whenever he has been given a chance by Moyes this season.

However, last night’s goal more than made up for that. Pablo Fornals will go down in the history books for West Ham, after his goal against AZ Alkmaar last night.

And the Hammers fans in the away end of the AFAS Stadium showed everyone exactly what it meant to us all last night.
