Simon Jordan has ripped into West Ham United ace Declan Rice after his poor performance vs Tottenham yesterday.
The 24-year-old Hammers skipper put in his worst performance of the season so far against Spurs.

In fairness to Rice, pretty much every single West Ham player stunk the place out in North London.

Without Declan Rice, god knows where we would be.
The England international has been our best player this season, but yesterday he was totally off the pace…

The talkSPORT pundit is about as ruthless as it comes when holding players to account.
And it was no different when Jordan was asked about West Ham’s performance at Tottenham yesterday:

“There were a number of players on that pitch, specifically Declan Rice, who weren’t at it yesterday and weren’t good enough in that game. He [Rice] just wasn’t the Declan Rice I’ve been used to seeing. It was surprising because in games like that you need your leaders to stand up and he is their leader, isn’t he? I said he wasn’t at it. That could mean his performance level wasn’t at it.”
Jordan has hit the nail on the head once again here.
Rice was incredibly poor yesterday and he quite simply didn’t turn up in our biggest game of the season to date.
I find it hard to criticise Dec, as good as he has been over the past three years or so for us. No player is immune from criticism though.
And Declan Rice quite simply went missing for West Ham yesterday when we needed him most.
