Insane David Moyes is past the point of no return at West Ham United with his inexcusable stubbornness.

West Ham took on Tottenham this afternoon and the early signs were actually good.

The Hammers passed the ball around well inside the first 20 minutes but the problem was that we had absolutely no cutting edge.

The main reason for that is David Moyes’s insistence on setting up so defensively and putting the shackles on all of our attacking players.

We didn’t lay a glove on Spurs in the first-half, and things didn’t get any better in second-half either.

David Moyes has not won an away game against any of the traditional ‘big six’ since he returned as West Ham manager. And it’s little wonder as to why. You know the old saying – the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results…

Insane David Moyes past the point of no return

The stubbornness of the Scot really is quite staggering isn’t it.

Time and time again when we play away from home against historically good sides, Moyes sets his team up in an incredibly defensive manner.

Michail Antonio has admitted before that West Ham’s game-plan is to sit back, keep it tight and nick a goal in the final 10 minutes.

It’s just not good enough in any way shape or form. The main problem with that setup is that when you concede, you are bang in trouble.

The fact that Moyes hasn’t won away against any of the big six in over 70 attempts. Any sane person would realise that what he’s doing isn’t working, and it hasn’t been for quite some time now.

The Hammers boss is too stubborn to change things though, that’s the simple fact of the matter. Because if he did change things, it would be an admission that he’s got things wrong.

A man as arrogant as David Moyes will never do that.

If the Scot stays in charge at the London Stadium, we will get relegated, I have no doubts about that.

In my opinion, insane David Moyes is past the point of no return with his inexcusable stubbornness. And something has to give sooner rather than later.
