David Moyes is not in danger of being sacked by the West Ham United owners, in spite of our terrible form and league position.

That’s according to a report from the Telegraph who claim that the West Ham board have been encouraged by recent performances, and have ‘no intention’ of parting ways with Moyes.

The Hammers are in all sorts of trouble at the moment, and we are currently sitting in 18th spot in the Premier League table, having taken just 20 points from our opening 23 games this season.

The fact that the owners didn’t sack Moyes on November 12th after our defeat to Leicester City was a massive mistake in my opinion.

And it seems like they’re prepared to keep the faith with Moyes…

David Moyes not in danger of being sacked

Amazingly, the Scot has the full support of the West Ham owners, according to a report from the Telegraph.

Worryingly, I believe that this lack of concern from the Hammers board about our current situation could seal our Premier League fate.

I have no doubt in my mind that West Ham are sleepwalking toward relegation down to the Championship with Moyes at the helm at the London Stadium.

Every single club in and around us in the table have already sacked their managers. And all of them have subsequently improved their results.

Moyes has proven time and time again this season that he is not prepared to change, nor is he capable of getting us out of the mess that he caused.

The man is an archaic relic with his outdated methods not fit for purpose in the modern game.

The fact that David Moyes is not in danger of being sacked just tells us everything we need to know about the owners’ ambition. Let’s hope that something changes fast and Moyes turns things around but unfortunately, I just can’t see it.
