Michail Antonio‘s stats from the Tottenham Hotspur defeat yesterday will make the West Ham United fans’ eyes bleed.
Antonio, who earns around £85k-a-week at West Ham according to Spotrac, has regressed badly over the past 12 months or so.

The Hammers put in a an absolutely pathetic performance against Tottenham yesterday, as David Moyes set up his team in the usual defensive manner.

There were plenty of poor performers on the day for West Ham against Spurs, but one player in particular was really, really poor.

The 32-year-old has lost half a yard of pace and is nowhere near as much of a nuisance for opposing defenders any more.
The ex-Nottingham Forest man is not a natural striker and as a result, the runs that he makes are totally wrong nine times out of ten.
Antonio’s display against Spurs yesterday was quite simply awful. and his stats from the contest make for really painful reading.
The Jamaica international had only 30 touches of the football and failed to register one single shot. He made only one key pass and registered an awful completion rate of 61.5% from 13 attempted passes (Who Scored).

In order to get a result against Tottenham yesterday, and taking Moyes’s awful tactics into account, we needed a top-class, all action performance from our number nine.
Instead, we got an insipid performance from a man who is no longer good enough to be playing at the highest level, in my honest opinion.
The Hammers need to sell the ageing forward in the summer, there are no two ways about that in my mind.
