Manchester United ace Jadon Sancho is apparently on the radar of West Ham United ahead of the summer transfer window.

West Ham could make a move to sign Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho this winter, according to a report from 90min.

Hammers boss David Moyes has made some great signings in the summer, but he is said to be looking to fund further moves in January by selling up to seven players.

One area in particular where the Scot needs to improve is his attacking department. The need for another striker has been well-documented, but it could be argued that we’re short of a wide player who can operate on both the left and right wings as well.

And it seems as though Sancho, 23, is someone who West Ham are monitoring. The former Borussia Dortmund man is someone who we touted for a move to the London Stadium last summer, right here on Hammers News.

Now it seems like Moyes could be ready to make a big splash in the transfer market by making a move for the 23-capped England international…

Shock Jadon Sancho claim emerges as West Ham line up swoop for hugely controversial star

90Min reckon that the Hammers are closely monitoring the Camberwell-born ace’s situation at Old Trafford.

It is said that a route back to the Man United first-team for Sancho is extremely unlikely as things stand.

One thing that’s abundantly clear is the fact that Sancho has no future at Old Trafford.

The 23-year-old winger hasn’t played for Man United since August 26th, and has only played 76 minutes for them this season (Soccerbase).

Sancho has been banished from first team training following his public rift with Erik ten Hag, and is still refusing to apologise to the Dutchman – something that is needed for him to be involved with the team again (ESPN).

It’s so obvious that the Manchester United man needs a fresh start somewhere in order to breath life back into his stagnant career.

We all know what he’s capable of – the 50 goals and 64 assists that he racked up in 137 games for Borussia Dortmund is evidence of his quality (Transfermarkt).

And if West Ham do manage to sign Jadon Sancho, even if it’s on loan, I think it will be a great outcome for all parties involved.
