David Moyes must be absolutely delighted at just how many talented young players are currently coming through at the London Stadium.

I think that the Hammers have another future star on our books though, and he just doesn’t get spoken about enough…

West Ham have another gem coming through in the under-21s

Regan Clayton has been in superb form for the Hammers’ youth team this season. He has bagged two goals and two assists in 20n games for the under-21s so far this season (Transfermarkt).

And he was at it again during the under-21’s 5-0 win over Wolves last night.

The 18-year-old left-back scored a goal and was a constant threat up and down the left hand flank.

Under-21s boss mark Robson absolutely raved about the West Ham youngster last year. And he has gone from strength to strength since then.

The teenager is an attacking left-back by trade and he has technical ability in abundance.

He obviously has a long way to go before he’s ready to play for the first-team, but the early signs are very promising indeed.

It will be interesting to watch how his career develops over the next few years.

There are so many talented youngsters coming through in the West Ham under-21s at the moment, and Regan Clayton seems to be getting overlooked.

Mark my words, he is a special talent and could go on to become a real star in the claret and blue.
