West Ham United target Roberto Firmino is reportedly all set to leave Liverpool on a free transfer at the end of the season.
That’s according to Florian Plettenberg who claims that the 31-year-old has informed Jurgen Klopp personally today that he will be leaving Liverpool on a free transfer in the summer.

West Ham were actually linked with a shock move to sign Firmino in the January transfer window.

The Brazilian attacker remained at Anfield in the end but it is clear to see that he is now well down the pecking order.
And it appears as though Jurgen Klopp has been unable to tempt him into staying at Liverpool beyond the end of this season…
West Ham target Roberto Firmino makes big Liverpool decision
It seems as though the talented South American attacker will not be a Liverpool player beyond the end of this current season.
According to well-respected journalist Florian Plettenberg, Firmino has already informed Klopp of his desire to leave Anfield after eight years on Merseyside:
His availability on a free transfer should be great news for West Ham and what a signing he would be for us, albeit a highly unlikely one.
The 31-year-old’s ability to link play between midfield and attack is exactly what West Ham are missing. He would be perfect for the Hammers in the number 10 role.
However, Moyes has made it very clear on numerous occasions that he wants to bring young and hungry players to the London Stadium, rather than ageing mercenaries on the look-out for one final big deal.
I’m not suggesting that Roberto Firmino wants to leave Liverpool for a big contract and an easy ride, but that would definitely be something that Moyes would consider.
As mentioned earlier, it will be highly unlikely that West Ham sign the Reds forward in the summer. His availability on a free transfer will undoubtedly improve our chances of bringing him to the London Stadium though.
