David Sullivan does not view any available managers as better than current West Ham boss David Moyes.
That’s according to Claret and Hugh, who claim that David Sullivan doesn’t believe that either Brendan Rodgers or Graham Potter would be upgrades on David Moyes.

C&H, who have very close links to West Ham United owner Sullivan, claim that they have been informed by a top source:

“Who says either is better than David Moyes, although I accept that Brendan is a very decent manager. Potter has been flattered by Brighton’s computer analysis which is run by the owner, and it is that system which buys all the players.”
That really is baffling isnt it. All you need to do is watch Potter’s Brighton team and more recently his Chelsea side to see that he is a better manager than Moyes, certainly from a tactical perspective.
And the same can be said of Rodgers at Leicester and his Swansea, Liverpool and Celtic teams before that.
It seems as though neither manager will be West Ham bound though, unfortunately…
Reporter close to David Sullivan shares David Moyes update
With Claret and Hugh claiming that the Hammers owner has no intention of hiring either Potter or Rodgers in place of Moyes after their sackings from Chelsea and Leicester City respectively, it seems as though the Scot could be in East London for the long haul.
Quite why Sullivan doesn’t see anything to suggest that either of them are better than Moyes is anyone’s guess.
Potter worked miracles at Brighton and in fairness to him, he did a decent job at Chelsea until Todd Boehly started spending money like it was going out of fashion on players the manager hasn’t even asked for. Either way, he wasn’t given the time for his footballing philosophy to manifest into results on the pitch.

Meanwhile, Rodgers has had sustained success for years with Liverpool, Celtic and Leicester City.
Both managers deploy an attacking brand of free-flowing football and place an emphasis on ball retention – something that we have been starved of over the past three-and-a-half years under Moyes.
After yesterday’s 1-0 win over Southampton, I’m pretty confident that West Ham will avoid relegation down to the Championship.
However, even if the Hammers retain our Premier League status, I believe David Sullivan should sack David Moyes in the summer. If we are to make genuine progress as a football club, the Scot absolutely cannot still be in the London Stadium hot-seat.
