A reporter close to David Sullivan has made a big Arthur Masuaku claim with the left-back’s future with West Ham United up in the air.
The 29-year-old left-back left the Hammers to join Besiktas on a season-long loan in the summer of 2022.

Masuaku joined West Ham in the summer of 2016 from Olympiacos for around £6 million (Sky Sports).

He failed to succeed at the London Stadium though and was often the target of fierce criticism from the fans.
When he moved on loan out to Turkey it seemed as though we would never see him in a West Ham shirt again. However, it appears as though that’s not a foregone conclusion…
Arthur Masuaku could still play for West Ham again
However, Claret and Hugh, who have close connections with the Hammers board, have just claimed that it is not beyond the realms of possibility that the 29-year-old could return to the London Stadium and play for West Ham again next season.

I think that David Moyes needs to do whatever he can to get rid of the Democratic Republic of Congo international on a permeant deal, even if that means releasing him.
The left-back’s poor concentration levels and shocking positional awareness have cost the Hammers on numerous occasions over the years.
The sooner we get rid of him the better in my opinion.
So it might just be a case of taking him back before selling him to another club in the summer transfer window. Arthur Masuaku may well return to West Ham in the summer, but I just can’t envisage a scenario where he stays at the club in the long-term.
