West Ham United need Vladimir Coufal back as soon as possible after the Ben Johnson horror show on Saturday.
The 23-year-old West Ham right-back put in one of the worst performances that I have ever seen from a Premier League player during our 4-0 defeat to Brighton.

The huge concern for the Hammers at the moment is that Coufal is out injured with a heel problem and Thilo Kehrer has been nearly as poor as Johnson when he has played.

David Moyes has performed really poorly in his role at the London Stadium this season and as a result, relegation is a very real possibility.
In order to move away from the bottom three over the course of the next month or so, Moyes cannot afford to start Johnson anymore. However, he will be forced into doing so if Coufal doesn’t return to action soon…
West Ham need Vladimir Coufal back like you can’t believe
Saying that sentence out loud sounds quite remarkable, considering just how poor the 30-year-old has been over the past 12 months.
Over the past month though, Coufal has rediscovered some of his best form and looks like his old self.
And getting him back in the starting XI will be absolutely vital for Sunday’s clash with Aston Villa.

There was a time not too long ago when I was calling for the Czech Republic international to be dropped. How things have changed now though!
Johnson is so poor and is nowhere near the level needed to be playing Premier League football, it’s as simple as that unfortunately.
If West Ham are to stay in the top flight, David Moyes needs to get Vladimir Coufal back fit as soon as possible.
Sometimes we just don’t appreciate what you’ve got until it’s gone do we?
