Besiktas will ‘almost certainly’ redeem the option that they hold to purchase Arthur Masuaku from West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Turkish publication Fanatik who claim that it’s almost a formality that Besiktas will take up their purchase option on the 29-year-old left-back.

Masuaku joined the Hammers from Olympiacos in the summer of 2016 for around £6 million (Sky Sports).
He endured a really tough six years at the London Stadium though, before leaving to join Besiktas on a season-long loan in the summer of 2022.
And it seems as though that will in fact happen…

The Democratic Republic of Congo international will almost certainly be joining Besiktas on a permanent deal at the end of this season, according to a report from Fanatik.
Besiktas are believed to have an option to buy Masuaku for around £2 million (FotoMac).
If he does join the Turkish giants permanently in the summer, it will be great news for West Ham.
Masuaku really has been very poor indeed for the Hammers, since moving to the London Stadium in 2016.
The left-back’s poor concentration levels and shocking positional awareness have cost the Hammers on numerous occasions over the years.
The sooner we get rid of him the better in my opinion.
Arthur Masuaku has proven to be a really poor signing for West Ham.
It seems as though we won’t have to see him making errors in a Hammers shirt again though…
