West Ham will demand three players from Arsenal when the North London outfit come knocking for Declan Rice this summer.

According to a report from Football Transfers, Arsenal are determined to get their hands on West Ham captain Declan Rice in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are believed to be leading the race to sign the 24-year-old Hammers midfielder, and he is allegedly excited at the prospect of moving to The Emirates.

Losing Rice will obviously be a massive blow for West Ham, but his potential summer exit is something that most of us have made peace with now.

And it seems as though West Ham boss David Moyes is determined to get the best value possible for the 41-capped England international…

Football Transfers reckon that the Hammers are already in negotiations with the Gunners about a summer transfer for Rice.

And Moyes is demanding that Folarin Balogun, Reiss Nelson and Albert Sambi Lokonga are included in the deal.

Nelson, 23, will be available on a free transfer this summer, so West Ham are presumably asking Arsenal not to offer him a new deal.

I would love Nelson and Balogun but I must admit, I would be totally underwhelmed if Lokonga was included in the deal to sell Rice.

The 23-year-old Belgian has failed to make any kind of impact whatsoever with Arsenal and hasn’t been great whilst on loan with Crystal Palace either.

I would take a deal worth around £70 million plus Balgoun and Nelson for Dec. I think that would be more than fair. Moyes could then spend all of that money on strengthening his central midfield department at the London Stadium.

Arsenal are clearly in a very strong position to sign Declan Rice this summer. Let’s just hope that the West Ham owners get the absolute best deal possible for the club, wherever Dec ends up.
