West Ham United are waiting or Chelsea to sack Graham Potter in order to appoint him as Hammers manager in place of David Moyes.

That’s according to West Ham website Claret and Hugh, who have very close ties to the owners at the London Stadium.
Moyes is under intense pressure in his role as Hammers boss, with his side currently sitting in 18th spot in the Premier League table, having taken just 20 points from our opening 23 games.

It appears as though the Chelsea manager features very highly indeed on the Hammers’ short-list of potential replacements for the Scot as well though…
West Ham eyeing Chelsea manager to replace David Moyes
Graham Potter has endured a nightmare spell in charge of Chelsea since taking over at Stamford Bridge in place of Thomas Tuchel earlier this season.
Chelsea are currently sitting in 10th spot in the Premier League table, a massive 11 points adrift of fourth placed Tottenham.
The Blues are also staring an exit from the Champions League at the last-16 stage in the face, heading into their second-leg clash with Borussia Dortmund trailing by one goal.
Surely a defeat to Tottenham on Sunday would spell the end of Potter’s reign in west London. And if he is sacked, West Ham should be right there waiting to sign him up.

Despite the 47-year-old’s struggles in charge of Chelsea, he is an exceptional manager in my opinion. He likes to implement an attacking brand of exciting football, whereby ball possession and incredible movement are at the forefront of his footballing philosophy.
Potter is head and shoulders above current West Ham manager David Moyes in every single department apart from experience.
And as we’ve seen this season, 1,000 odd games in football management counts for very little when you are unable to evolve.
Let’s hope that Graham Potter is the next man to occupy the Hammers hot-seat. I really do feel like he is the man to take us forward as a football club.
