West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has responded when asked to name Chelsea’s best new signing.
Chelsea saw out a 1-1 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday, and Felix was the standout performer for the visitors.

Chelsea rocked up at the London Stadium with a plethora of new signings on display including Joao Felix, Noni Madueke, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez.
A point against the Blues sounds like a fantastic achievement when reeling off those names doesn’t it!
Michail Antonio came up against all of them, but which player did he think was the best out of Chelsea’s new signings?
West Ham ace names Chelsea’s best new signing
Antonio came face to face with all of Chelsea’s new-boys on Saturday at the London Stadium.
The 32-year-old would have seen first hand just how good the new signings were.
However, Antonio reserved special praise for Joao Felix, when speaking on the Footballer’s Football podcast:
“Joao Felix, he’s a player, mate. He is a player, like running the game, number 10, popping up in the 6 role, everything was going through him, he was quality.”
Antonio is spot on there, Felix was truly unbelievable on Saturday.
What a player the 23-year-old is. Surprisingly, Chelsea do not have an option to buy the Portuguese ace at the end of the season.
What do they say? Never fall in love with a loan player? One would imagine that if he keeps performing like this, his value will absolutely sky rocket in the summer.
Michail Antonio thinks that Chelsea’s best new signing is Joao Felix, and it’s hard to disagree with him. Whether the Blues are able to get a permanent deal done for him in the summer remains to be seen though.
