West Ham United could be offered Edin Dzeko this summer, as a sweetener by Inter Milan in a deal that would see Gianluca Scamacca head in the opposite direction.
That’s according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport who claim that Dzeko could be on his way out of Inter Milan this summer, with West Ham striker Scamacca a target for the Nerazzurri.

And to make any kind of transfer go smoother, Inter are allegedly prepared to send the 36-year-old ex Manchester City hitman to the London Stadium.

Hammers boss David Moyes has failed to get the best out of Scamacca since he joined the club from Sassuolo in the summer for around £35 million.
And it seems as though there is one club in particular who want to sign the Italy international…
West Ham could be offered Edin Dzeko as part as swap deal for Gianluca Scamacca
Gazzetta dello Sport reckon that the 36-year-old striker could be London Stadium bound.
Dzeko would be used as a sweetener in a deal that would see Scamacca head in the opposite direction.
Dzeko bagged an impressive 118 goals and 55 assists in 259 games for Roma before joining Inter Milan where he racked up 28 goals and 15 assists in 85 outings (Transfermarkt).
He has scored 384 goals in 848 games for club and country throughout his illustrious career to date (Transfermarkt).
The former Man City man is an elite striker and he has been for nearly a decade and a half now.

However, he will be 37 before the start of next season! There is no way that West Ham should even be contemplating letting Scamacca go and bringing in Edin Dzeko, even as a short-term replacement.
Scamacca is a real talent and if Moyes set up his team in the correct manner, we would definitely see the best of the 6ft 5in forward.
Giving up on him so soon would be a complete disaster and if he does leave, he will undoubtedly rip it up at whichever club he joins.
West Ham signing Edin Dzeko surely won’t happen this summer. David Moyes wants to bring young and hungry players into the club right? Let’s hope that Scamacca is given the best chance to succeed by Moyes between now and the end of the season. I really don’t want us to lose the Italian.
