A report has named the fee that Manchester United will sell Scott McTominay to West Ham United for in the summer.

West Ham boss David Moyes desperately needs to sign a top-class central midfielder in the summer transfer window, and the Manchester United man is someone who the Scott clearly admirers.

And Manchester United star McTominay is someone who has been heavily touted to replace Rice at West Ham.

But will he be a realistic signing in the summer for the Hammers? And how much will it take to prise him away from Old Trafford?

Fee that Manchester United want for Scott McTominay emerges

According to a report from 90min, Man United will demand a minimum of £25 million from West Ham for the Scotland international.

Now, that sounds like really good value to me. Whilst the 26-year-old is not as good as Declan Rice, and in no way should be viewed as the 24-year-old’s direct replacement, he would be a really strong addition to Moyes’s squad.

The Scottish midfielder has energy and stamina in abundance and is a tireless worker.

He is strong as an ox, tenacious in the tackle and quick along the ground.

On face value, he possesses all of the attributes that West Ham manager David Moyes usually looks for in a player.

I think that for £25 million, West Ham can’t really go wrong by signing the Scot.

One huge problem for us is that Newcastle want to sign Scott McTominay from Manchester United as well. So we may well have our work cut-out this summer.
