David Moyes reportedly now wants 30-year-old midfielder who Slaven Bilic desperately tried to sign for West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
The West Ham manager has a big summer transfer window ahead of him, if he is still in charge at the London Stadium of course.

Strengthening the central midfield ranks will be the most important task on Moyes’s hands this summer, with Declan Rice likely to leave the Hammers at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old is wanted by some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, and it’s now a formality that he will be leaving West Ham in my opinion.
So who does Moyes have lined up as Rice’s potential replacement?
West Ham want to sign 30-year-old midfielder in the summer transfer window
Well, just last week the Hammers were linked with a move for Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
And then Scott McTominay was mentioned someone who Moyes wants to bring in.
However, a new name has emerged this afternoon as a potential transfer target for West Ham in the summer.
Spanish media outlet Fichajes.net claim that Real Betis midfielder William Carvalho is on the Hammers’ radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
The West Ham fans will be very familiar with the Portuguese star.
The Hammers have been long time admirers of Carvalho. Slaven Bilic was desperate to sign the powerful box-to-box midfielder in the summer of 2017 (BBC).
The long-running transfer saga will forever be remembered for a very public spat in which Hammers co-owner David Sullivan was accused of lying and was called a “parasite”.

West Ham responded by pursuing libel action against Sporting’s directors.
But the ultimate insult came when then Sporting president Bruno de Carvalho labelled Sullivan and fellow co-owner David Gold ‘the Dildo Brothers’ – a nod to the pair’s history in the sex industry.
And now six years later, West Ham appear to be back on the trail of Carvalho ahead of the summer transfer window. He’s not at Sporting Lisbon anymore, so there is a chance that this one could happen.
However, William Carvalho should in no way be considered as a direct replacement for Declan Rice – he’s not fit to lace the 24-year-old’s boots.
