Reims president breaks Will Still silence admits big West Ham claim

Reims president Jean-Pierre Caillot has broken his silence about Will Still amidst rumours that he could become West Ham United manager.

The 30-year-old is a West Ham fan, and the Hammers are seemingly keeping a very close eye on him as David Moyes continues to feel the pressure at the London Stadium.

According to Foot Mercato, West Ham are weighing up a move to appoint Still as Moyes’s replacement, when the Scot is inevitably moved on.

And the Belgium-born Englishman allegedly dreams of managing the Hammers.

But is there a chance that Still could swap France for England?

Jean-Pierre Caillot is clearly desperate to keep hold of the 30-year-old.

And he told FootMercato how much he is hoping that Still remains at The Stade Auguste-Delaun:

“I really hope, given his work, his performance and given his human qualities, that he will remain the coach of the Stade de Reims. That is how things should go. Today, I think he is fine with us. He has the club’s confidence, including financially. So I think logic means that he will be our coach next season. In any case, I sincerely hope so.”

Despite Caillot’s comment, I still believe that Will Still will move to West Ham, if he is in fact offered the job.

I would love the 30-year-old to take over from Moyes at the London Stadium.

Still is incredibly intense with his approach to training sessions and that translates out onto the pitch.

The 30-year-old likes to implement a 4-2-3-1 system. He is very flexible and likes his team to build up from the back although he’s not averse to playing a counter attacking style either.

Still’s exploits with Reims have been described as ‘unbelievable’ by the Mirror.

And if West Ham manage to prise Will Still away from Reims, we will be a club going places.
