West Ham United are lining up a move to appoint Reims manager Will Still to replace David Moyes in the summer.

That’s according to a report from Foot Mercato who claim that West Ham are eyeing up potential replacements for Moyes, with the Scot’s job currently on the line.

Moyes has overseen a disastrous Premier League campaign this season, but on the flip-side he has guided us to 10 wins in a row in the UEFA Europa Conference League.

So in fairness to the 59-year-old, he does deserve great credit for that.

However, if West Ham are to make real progress over the next few years a new manager is needed, most of us can agree on that.

And it seems as though the Hammers have a genuinely exciting option lined up….

West Ham eyeing Will Still as David Moyes replacement

Foot Mercato claims that the powers that be at the London Stadium are big fans of the 30-year-old Reims boss, and the feeling is very much mutual.

Still led Reims to an unbelievable 18-game unbeaten Ligue 1 run. Unfortunately for him though, that run was ended by Marseille last night.

The Belgian-born manager is a West Ham fan and he really does seem like the ideal appointment for us.

Still is incredibly intense with his approach to training sessions and that translates out onto the pitch.

The 30-year-old likes to implement a 4-2-3-1 system. He is very flexible and likes his team to build up from the back although he’s not averse to playing a counter attacking style either.

Still’s exploits with Reims have been described as ‘unbelievable’ by the Mirror.

It’s very early days, but Will Still seems to have it all, and he would be a great appointment for West Ham in my opinion.
