Things really seems to be moving quickly here, and what a signing the Brazilian will be for West Ham.

David Moyes has secured a real coup here. West Ham have reportedly beaten Tottenham to his signature!

And it’s surely only a matter of time before we see him holding up the shirt…

Fabrizio Romano drops claims as West Ham close in on Paqueta

It seems as though Paqueta is close to moving to the London Stadium this summer.

This one really did come out of the blue and West Ham are clearly trying to get it done and dusted as soon as possible.

The Italian journalist reckons that the Hammers are closing in on the 25-year-old Brazilian…

We cannot wait until this one is done – what a truly unbelievable signing the Brazilian will be for the football club.

The 33-capped Brazil international is an attacking midfielder by trade but he can also operate on either wing if need be.

The silky left-footed ace has bagged 20 goals and 13 assists in 77 games for Lyon so far. Last season, he racked up 11 goals and seven assists in 44 appearances for the French side (Transfermarkt).

Paqueta possesses exceptional technique, impressive pace and has a real eye for goal and a killer pass.

He seems to have all of the attributes needed to succeed in the Premier League and he has that nasty side on the football pitch that is so quintessentially South American as well.

We think that £50 million for Lucas Paqueta is great value for West Ham. He could end up being one of our best signings of the past couple of decades.

Let’s just hope that there aren’t any late snags!
