Konstantinos Mavropanos has used two words to describe the London Stadium after he was in attendance for the West Ham vs Manchester City game.
West Ham played host to Manchester City at the London Stadium on Saturday, and new signing Konstantinos Mavropanos watched on from the sidelines.

The 25-year-old could be in line for his first start for the Hammers in the Europa League against Backa Topola tonight – the club seemed to hint that that would be the case on Twitter a couple of days ago.
I think he’ll go on to be a brilliant signing for us, and the sooner Hammers boss David Moyes gives him a start the better as far as I’m concerned.
And whenever he does start, he’ll undoubtedly receive a really warm welcome from the home fans…
Mavropanos hugely impressed by West Ham atmosphere
The giant Hammers defender was on the substitutes bench for our clash with Man City on Saturday.
And he responded when asked to describe his first experience of a match-day at the London Stadium, when speaking on the Iron Cast podcast:
“The feeling was amazing. The atmosphere was incredible. For sure I can’t wait to make my debit and have the feeling inside the stadium.”
There has been plenty of criticism of the London Stadium since we moved into our new home way back in 2016, and it’s still far from perfect.
However, there have been signs that the atmosphere is improving over the past couple of years.
A lot of that is to do with more success on the pitch, of course it is. That said, we struggled a lot last season in the Premier League, and there were some great atmospheres at the London Stadium throughout the campaign.
Konstantinos Mavropanos was clearly very impressed with the atmosphere inside the ground during West Ham’s defeat to Manchester City last weekend. The words ‘amazing’ and ‘incredible’ were used by the Greek ace to describe the London Stadium.
And we need it to become a real fortress, if we are to push for a top six or seven finish in the Premier League this season.
