Manchester United vs Manchester City result huge for West Ham

The Hammers play host to Liverpool tomorrow and a win would put us six points clear of Man United in the Premier League table.

The top three will be untouchable this season. Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool will undoubtedly occupy the top three spots come May.

The race for fourth spot is wide open though.

And the result during the Man United vs Man City clash will give West Ham a real chance of stamping their authority down in the race for the fourth and final Champions League spot.

David Moyes will know that as well.

All of the West Ham players today will have been asking, what was the Man United vs Man City score? And when they find out City won, they will surely be buoyed ahead of tomorrow’s game against the Reds.

Hopefully we take the game to Liverpool tomorrow.

What have we got to lose? Nothing is the answer. Nobody expected us to be up where we are at this point in the season.
