West Ham face a big problem with Manchester United and Tottenham eyeing up a move to sign Roma striker Tammy Abraham.
According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport (print edition May 1st, page 17), Manchester United and Tottenham could try to sign West Ham target Tammy Abraham in the summer transfer window.

However, West Ham missed out on Tammy in the summer of 2021 when he swapped Chelsea for the Italian capital for around £34 million (BBC).
Moyes brought Gianluca Scamacca to the London Stadium instead. With the Italian having failed to settle with West Ham though, there have been rumours that Moyes could go back in for Abraham.
However, if that is indeed the case, the Hammers will have our work cut out…
West Ham face Tottenham and Manchester United competition for Tammy Abraham
According to Gazzette dello Sport, Manchester United and Tottenham have been performing scouting missions on the 25-year-old striker ahead of the summer transfer window.
It is suggested that Roma will demand in excess of £70 million for the former Chelsea front-man.
That puts Man United and Spurs in a far stronger position than us in the race for Abraham’s signature.
The London-born ace is an elite centre-forward, and has been described as a ‘stunning’ player by the Daily Mail.
He is strong, capable of playing with his back to goal and holding the ball up, has impressive pace and is a real handful for opposing defenders in the air.
Since joining Roma, Tammy has bagged 36 goals and 12 assists in 98 games (Transfermarkt). Those are really solid numbers from the 6ft 3in hitman, especially considering that his play consists of so much more than just scoring goals.
He is actually the perfect striker for the Hammers and I’m still at a loss as to explain why Moyes didn’t push harder to sign him two years ago.
It seems like the chance for West Ham to sign Tammy Abraham has well and truly gone now unfortunately, with Tottenham and Manchester United ramping up their interest in the striker.
