West Ham are lining up a bid for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham according to a report from The Daily Mail.
Romelu Lukaku is inching ever closer to joining Chelsea from Inter Milan. And when that’s done, the Blues will try to push Abraham out the door.
The problem for the Hammers is that the Daily Mail are claiming that Chelsea still want £40 million for the 23-year-old.
Surely the west London outfit will lower their demands. If any club was willing to pay £40 million for Tammy, they would have wrapped up a deal to sign him already.
West Ham ready to bid for Abraham?
The Hammers have been chasing the Chelsea hitman since Sebastien Haller left the London Stadium in January.
As things stand, however, we are still yet to make a concrete move to sign the 23-year-old.
The Daily Mail claims that West Ham are now weighing up a bid for Tammy, however.
Surely we will offer Chelsea closer to £25-30 million. And then negotiations will obviously begin.
The problem for the Hammers is that Arsenal and Atalanta want to sign Abraham as well.
So we will really have our work cut-out if we are to sign the 23-year-old, especially when considering GSB’s notorious negotiating skills.

Let’s hope that Moyes somehow manages to bring Abraham to the London Stadium. He would be an exceptional addition for us this summer.
The way we look at it, however, Tammy rocking up at the London Stadium this summer still seems highly unlikely.
