And PSV Eindhoven midfielder Sangare is someone who the Hammers have been heavily linked with recently.

It seems as though Reds boss Jurgen Klopp and Gunners manager Mikel Arteta could seriously scupper Moyes’s plans though…

Liverpool and Arsenal to challenge West Ham for Ibrahim Sangare

According to a report from 90Min, the two Premier League giants are chasing the 25-year-old’s signature ahead of the summer window.

The 29-year-old Ivory Coast international powerhouse is one of the very best around, and should he end up at either Anfield or the Emirates, it would be a major blow for West Ham.

It might be hard to win the race for the PSV star but Moyes, and the Hammers owners need to everything they possibly can to make it happen.

I would absolutely love Moyes to bring Sangare to the Hammers in the summer transfer window.

What a player the PSV Eindhoven ace is.

Standing at 6ft 3in tall, Sangare is an absolute unit of a man, and he possesses energy and athleticism in abundance.

He’s a defensive midfielder by trade, but has recently evolved into more of a box-to-box player.

The 25-year-old bagged four goals and two assists for PSV Eindhoven last season, and this term he’s racked up seven goals and three assists in 37 games (Transfermarkt).

During 29 outings for PSV last term, Sangare averaged 3.3 tackles and 2.6 interceptions per game. He made 70 passes on average per match and recorded an impressive completion rate of 86.1% (Who Scored).

Well-renowned scouting website Breaking The Lines describe Sangare as a ‘powerhouse’ midfielder.

Ibrahim Sangare has a €37 million (£32 million) release clause inserted into his current contract (90Min), so Liverpool, Arsenal and West Ham would all be able to afford that.

The problem for us is that Sangare will undoubtedly be more keen to join either the Reds or the Gunners than us. That’s just plain facts at the moment unfortunately.
