West Ham United goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski has shared what he asked Jarrod Bowen immediately after he signed his new seven-year contract.
Jarrod Bowen has just put pen-to-paper on a new contract – one that should hopefully keep him at West Ham until at least 2030.

Bowen has been fantastic so far this season for the Hammers, and David Moyes is allegedly open to the idea of moving him into a new centre-forward role at the London Stadium.

The 26-year-old has bagged five goals and two assists already this season, and he has been rewarded with not only a new contract but a call-up to the England national team squad as well.
Every single person involved with the club is so happy for Jarrod. However, Lukasz Fabianski had a very interesting question for the former Hull man after he signed his new deal…
Fabianski shares what he asked Jarrod Bowen after he signed new contract
The 26-year-old forward is well on his way to becoming a Hammers legend now, after signing the new deal.
And when speaking to Polish media outlet Sport.pl, Fab shared the first thing he said to Bowen when he committed his long-term future to West Ham:

“When I heard this information, I went to Jarrod and asked how it was possible to arrange something for a longer time. This may be something new, related to how talks with new and current players will be conducted.”
Fabianski was obviously shocked at the length of the new contract handed out to Jarrod Bowen.
Chelsea have been doing it recently, but this deal signed by Bowen is the longest one handed out in the Hammers’ history.
Bowen will be 33 by the time his deal comes to an end, so I really don’t see anything wrong with handing him such a lengthly contract. He doesn’t get injured very often and is an extremely robust footballer.
I envisage many successful years ahead for both Jarrod Bowen and West Ham United football club. Let’s just hope that he maintains the hunger and drive that has got him to where he is today.
