Lucas Paqueta has taken absolute liberties in West Ham training and he knows it too as the star takes to social media.

West Ham are heading up to Burnley cursing their luck after losing top scorer Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio to knee injuries over the international break.

Any side would miss Bowen of course and in many ways he makes West Ham tick.

But one man who has been well rested and looks raring to go is among the best in the Premier LeagueLucas Paqueta.

Banned from the Brazil squad amid the allegations against him – which he vehemently denies – Paqueta has had plenty of rest during the three international breaks so far.

And it certainly shows ahead of the big game at Burnley – where the Hammers can go eighth with a win.

Paqueta has been taking absolute liberties in West Ham training and he knows it as the star takes to social media.

West Ham’s Brazilian magnifico has reposted a video from the Hammers media team which shows him putting on a clinic of Samba flair in a rondo session at Rush Green.

Paqueta’s one-touch brilliance has his teammates in knots and awe as he pulls out all the tricks and flicks with some audacious back-heels throw in for good measure.

It’s a sight to behold.

West Ham may be without Bowen and Antonio for the game at Turf Moor but Burnley beware because Paqueta looks in the mood.

He certainly doesn’t look like a man with the weight of an FA and FIFA investigation on his shoulders.

Tim Sherwood recently described Paqueta as ‘audacious and self-indulgent’.

It’s easy to see where the pundit is coming from in many ways – but with Paqueta in this kind of mood, it can only be good for West Ham given the injury situation.

A recent video showed a close bond forming between Paqueta and West Ham’s £38m star boy Mohammed Kudus.

And the duo should get the chance to build on that in the coming games as they take centre stage for West Ham’s attack.

Meanwhile a source close to West Ham’s owners delivered a major update on the investigation into Paqueta recently.
