Lucas Paqueta posted a tweet last night that will make the West Ham United fans go weak at the knees this morning.

West Ham manager David Moyes brought Lucas Paqueta to West Ham from Lyon for a club record £51 million fee in the summer of 2022 (The Times).

The Brazilian has been in fine form recently, and actually made Moyes stand up and applaud him during the clash with Manchester United last weekend.

After a slow start to life with the Hammers, the talented South American play-maker has now bagged five goals and five assists in 37 games for the club (Transfermarkt).

He is starting to play a vital role in each and every game that he features in. What I really like about him is that he’s not just a show pony – he loves the physical side of the game as well, and never shirks a battle.

That’s what the majority of West Ham fans really appreciate about him as well. He clearly gives everything for the club when he’s on the pitch. And Paqueta’s tweet last night has proven just how much the club means to him…

Lucas Paqueta calling the London Stadium his home is a huge boost for us.

Reports earlier this year claimed that the 25-year-old Brazilian could actually leave West Ham this summer, having struggled to adapt to the Premier League and Moyes’s system.

It seems as though the former Lyon ace is here to stay now though. He has drastically improved over the past few months and now looks like he’ll end up being a real star in East London.

Lucas Paqueta is adored by the West Ham fans already. However, the tweet that he posted late last night will enhance his hero status even further still at the London Stadium.
