A journalist close to David Moyes has shared a huge and somewhat shocking update on his West Ham United future.
After West Ham’s 6-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend it was claimed David Moyes has four games to decide his future.
The first of those ended in a 2-0 defeat at Nottingham Forest.
Moyes had been expected to sign a new deal after publicly stating he would be sitting down with majority owner David Sullivan at the end of the January transfer window.
West Ham are yet to win in 2024 and a growing section of fans have been calling for change.
Banners saying ‘Moyes Out’ were unfurled by some fans after the loss to Forest.

Journalist close to Moyes shares update on his future
Moyes has defended his record and insists West Ham have enjoyed some of their best years under him.
But a host of managers have been linked as potential replacements for the Scot, whose current contract expires at the end of the season.
With pressure mounting, the narrative has been that Moyes is now more likely to leave than stay.
Now a journalist close to Moyes has shared a huge and somewhat shocking update on his West Ham future.
Scottish journalist Alan Nixon counts Moyes among his close contacts.
Writing on his Patreon, The Sun reporter has claimed Moyes is still on course to sign a new West Ham deal.
And he claims the board merely see the Arsenal thumping as a freak one-off.

‘Well down the line’
“West Ham are still advancing with contract talks about a new deal for David Moyes despite the thrashing by Arsenal,” Nixon reported yesterday.
“Moyes is well down the line with agreeing a longer stay with the club and the Gunners mauling is seen as a one off.”
That tallies with what Hammers News was exclusively told about Moyes’ future two weeks ago.
The top source inside the club told us that Moyes would be judged over the season, not a bad run of form.
And that the Hammers boss would be offered a new deal ‘subject to terms’.
Perhaps the club’s owners are simply waiting for the team’s form or results to improve so they can use it as an opportunity to extend Moyes’ deal?
With bogey-side Brentford and their talisman striker Ivan Toney up next, the wait could go on for any kind of official clarity over Moyes’ future.
He is staying, though, according to his journalistic confidant.
