If Moyes isn’t brave enough to make big change, then £14m ace must start for West Ham vs Newcastle tonight.
West Ham play host to Newcastle in the Premier League this evening and both sides will be absolutely desperate for all three points.

David Moyes is in real need of a result tonight, in order to ease some of the pressure that he’s currently feeling at the London Stadium.
In order to do that, the Scot needs to make one big change tonight in my opinion.

Tomas Soucek has been in absolutely awful form this season, yet he somehow manages to keep his place in the team pretty much week in, week out.
However, if Moyes isn’t brave enough to bring in a play-maker like Manuel Lanzini or Pablo Fornals in his place alongside Lucas Paqueta and Declan Rice, then there’s only one thing left to do…
David Moyes must make one big change for West Ham vs Newcastle
It’s painfully obvious that Moyes hasn’t got the courage to start either Lanzini or Fornals next to Rice and Paqueta in the middle of the park.
Because of that, bringing Flynn Downes into the side in place of Tomas Soucek should be an absolute no-brainer for the Scot.
Downes joined the Hammers from Swansea City for around £14 million in the summer transfer window (Wales Online).
However, Moyes has given the midfielder just 1,075 minutes of action this season, with only 415 of those coming in the Premier League (Transfermarkt).
What makes his lack of action even more baffling is the fact that every single time the ex-Swansea man has played, he has seriously impressed.

In my opinion, the 24-year-old is streets ahead of Tomas Soucek in every single department, apart from in the air.
Downes is an archetypal defensive midfielder. He is absolutely brilliant at breaking up play and quickly moving the ball on – something that enables us to get up the pitch so much faster in transition.
He is tenacious, aggressive and has a really impressive engine on him. The midfielder is perfectly built for the modern game, but he’s far from a one-trick physical pony.
Downes is a very good passer of the football and possesses impressive technical ability.
So if David Moyes really is so averse to starting Lanzini or Fornals in a midfield three for the West Ham vs Newcastle game, then Downes coming into the side in place of Soucek will the only acceptable decision tonight from the Hammers boss.
