Ex-West Ham United managers Slaven Bilic and Alan Curbishley being considered to replace David Moyes.

Claret and Hugh, who have close contacts with club owner David Sullivan, claim that both Slaven Bilic and Alan Curbishley are being lined up as potential replacements for current West Ham boss David Moyes on a caretaker basis.

However, is it claimed that Harry Redknapp is not being considered as a Moyes replacement by the Hammers owners.

The 59-year-old Scot has performed terribly in his role as manager at the London Stadium this season, certainly in the Premier League.

West Ham are currently sitting outside the relegation zone surely because of a superior goal difference to those below us in the table.

Reports have been doing the round that Moyes could be sacked in the summer and replaced by Graham Potter.

Now it seems as though he could lose his job before then, and be replaced on a short-term basis until the end of the season by one of two former Hammers managers…

Slaven Bilic and Alan Curbishley being lined up as David Moyes replacements

Claret and Hugh reckon that the two former Hammers bosses are being considered as potential replacements for the Scot, on a caretaker basis.

I’m pretty sure that there aren’t many West Ham fans out there who are yearning for Bilic or Curbishley return to the club.

However, if Moyes is moved on I truly believe that we would improve as a team with literally any new manager at the helm.

Whether that be Graham Potter, Brendan Rodgers, Kevin Nolan, Mark Noble, Bilic or Curbishley.

The Hammers are in desperate need of a change. Things have come stale for quite some time now, and if we lose at Fulham, Moyes’s time in East London could very well be finished.

If David Moyes is moved on, don’t be surprised one little bit to see West Ham turn to Slaven Bilic or Alan Curbishley on a short-term basis.

At least the former would have us playing some exciting, attacking football! In all seriousness though, neither of those two names excite me. That said, it can’t get much worse than what Moyes is currently serving up can it?
