A big West Ham United transfer is set to be all wrapped up within the next hour or so it seems.

West Ham head coach Julen Lopetegui is getting some serious business done in the summer transfer window.

The Spaniard has already made some hugely exciting moves, and now another one seems to be almost done.

Lopetegui has been tasked with the job of getting the Hammers back inside the top six, and he’s certainly going about achieving that remit in exactly the right way.

First he brought Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman to the London Stadium, and now a whole host of new signings are believed to be on their way as well.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Crysencio Summerville and Niclas Fullkrug are believed to be Lopetegui’s prime targets.

And now one of those three players will imminently be announced as a new West Ham player it seems…

The Leeds star was all set to join the Hammers last night.

However, it emerged overnight that a fee had still not been agreed with Leeds, with a few things still needed to be sorted out regarding the length of contract on offer to the 22-year-old as well.

However, an exciting new update has now been provided regarding the transfer saga.

Hammers insider Sean Whetstone has claimed the deal to bring Summerville to the London Stadium should all be concluded by 4pm today.

That said, the day and the time of the official announcement is still yet to be decided.

This is such a big transfer for the Hammers – Summerville will improve our attacking play dramatically.

The 22-year-old speed merchant bagged an impressive 21 goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances for Leeds United last season, and if he could replicate anything like that at the London Stadium he’d be well worth the money.

His explosive pace and consistent output inside the final third will take us to another level entirely.

Crysencio Summerville joining West Ham could end up being the best deal of the summer in my opinion.
